How it works
- Draw your lawn. Trace the outline over an aerial photo or a site plan you upload, set the scale with one distance you know, and mark the house, paths and beds to keep dry.
- Click Auto-design. The planner places Hunter MP Rotator sprinklers head to head — quarter circles in the corners, half circles along the edges, full circles in the middle — and groups them into zones that fit your water supply.
- Get the plan and the parts list. You see the flow of every zone, the valves and the pipe runs, and a bill of materials with quantities and estimated prices. Export it as a PDF for yourself or your installer.
What you get
- The sprinkler count and the layout for your actual lawn shape, not a rule of thumb.
- Zones sized to your water. Enter the flow from a quick bucket test at your outdoor tap and every zone stays within it, with a safety margin.
- Feet, square feet and GPM throughout — or switch to metric any time.
- A starting point you control. Move, add or delete heads, change arcs and radii, regroup zones and redraw pipes; the planner rechecks the flows.
Good to know
Topoform is in beta and designs with one sprinkler catalog: the Hunter MP Rotator nozzles (MP800SR, MP1000, MP2000 and MP3000, plus strip and corner nozzles). Drip lines and other brands are not supported yet. Prices in the parts list are estimates in US dollars — check them before you buy. All pipe is currently sized at one diameter, so the pipe estimate is on the generous side.

Questions and answers
How many sprinklers do I need for my yard?
It depends on the shape of the lawn more than on its area: edges and corners need their own heads. Draw your yard and the planner places them for you; for a plain rectangle the free calculator gives a quick count.
Do I need to know my water pressure and flow?
Flow helps a lot: a bucket test at your tap takes a minute and lets the planner size the zones to your supply. You can add the static pressure too, and the planner checks it against what the nozzles need.
Is it really free?
Yes, during the beta every feature is free and no payment details are collected.
